I love a good pattern and color in swimwear, but if I’m only going to have one piece in my collection, it’s going to be a black swimsuit. It’s universally flattering. It attracts attention. You can also dress it down. The black swimsuit is a classic for a reason!

We went on a fun retreat with our team a few years ago and met at the beach. Every girl showed up in a black bathing suit – completely unplanned. It was just synchronicity.
Two of my favorites are investment pieces, but you can find ones for every budget. I have one from TA3 Swim that is corset style, and when you tighten it up, you get this amazing hourglass shape (a blessing for my flatter figure). I feel so good in that bathing suit.
On the other side of the size spectrum, I have the Hunza G swimsuit which is literally a style for everyone. I’ve never seen anyone look bad in this suit. In fact, I have it in three colors because it’s so comfortable. You’ll want to do the same after you try it!

February and March are a great time to take a short break and beat the winter blues. I always pack a black bathing suit if there’s a pool or beach in sight!
