Ah to live in a cozy house. After spending my entire 38 years living in Canada, I feel like I’ve finally figured out the secret to surviving winter. And the answer is quite simple: rely on it wholeheartedly. Invest in a really great winter jacket. Put on cashmere sweaters and woolen socks. Put together puzzles by candlelight. Drink hot cocoa after a brisk walk.
