As the winter months begin to fade, it’s time to transform our homes from cozy cold-weather-inspired spaces to something brighter for the spring and summer seasons ahead. In my bedroom, I enjoy flannel sheets all winter long. However, it was time to upgrade as we said goodbye to the snow. With spring cleaning and remodeling in full swing, I freshened up my bedroom by ditching the flannels in favor of fresh new sheets and bringing in colorful flowers and rich red tones.
I focused on adding color to the soft blankets and finished the foot of the bed with a vintage quilt I had been thrifting. A red blanket brings just the right amount of warmth and vibrancy to balance the white sheets and tufted headboard. I like to fold it over the end of the bed for an inviting look.
The stripes of red and floral detailing really lifted my bedroom out of its winter slumber. I’m excited to curl up with a good book or enjoy my morning coffee surrounded by these cheerful accents for the coming seasons. Refreshing my small bedroom was simple, but it had a big impact on my mood and desire to spend time in the space. I love the lighter, softer vibe these blankets and pillows have brought to the room as we say goodbye to winter. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today and every other day. It really means the world to us here on the farm. Stay up to date with us daily on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok. As always, stay comfortable!
