Tis the season for Girl Scout cookies. Whether you’re a fan of lemonade, peanut butter sandwiches, or an adventurer, the Boy Scouts are prepared with boxes of your favorite treats ready for your pantry. However, Thin Mints seem to be universal crowd pleasers – and likely to be the first to sell out. Luckily, Costco just brought back a new dessert that will make your Thin Mints nostalgic, just in case you can’t pick up a box of real cookies this year.
As noted by @costcobuys on Instagram, the wholesaler is selling Thin Mints Bites, complete with a crunchy center, a layer of mint and a coating of rich dark chocolate. A 20-ounce bag retails for $12.49.
Commenters on the post were excited to see them back in stock for another year, claiming they were “so good” and “delicious”. Some even mentioned that their local Costcos also sell them in other Girl Scout Cookie flavors like Caramel deLites, also known as Samoas. Instead of a minty interior, you’ll get a layer of coconut and caramel coating around that crunchy core.
If you’re looking for something sweet to complete your spread the next time you’re hosting, whether it’s the Super Bowl, Galentine’s Day, or just a standard dinner, this would be perfect to layer into a guest bowl. We guarantee this treat will be gone by the end of the evening. Or you can also throw them in the freezer to snack on when you need a sweet snack. (You’ll thank me later.)
Since these tend to come and go at Costco, you may want to grab a bag while you can. Although they may eventually be restored, there is no telling when that might be.
