The collective brings together both emerging and established black artists and black designers working under the direction and mentorship of Evan Jerry of Studio ANANSI, who has designed some iconic CB2 staples (including the best-selling Marisa Burl Desk and Jaxx Marble Table, to name a few) while exploring working in the environment art galleries. Each item in the collection is exclusive to CB2 and celebrates the excellence of black. The designers were tapped for their vision and diverse global influences, with designs “originating from the streets of Paris and Lagos, Nigeria, to the shores of the Caribbean islands,” according to CB2’s website.
