I love attending a home-focused show, whether it’s dedicated to kitchen and bath products, finishes like tile or other decorative accents, gifts, avant-garde design, or home tech. I searched high and low for the best kitchen and bath products to come out of the 2024 Kitchen & Bath Show (KBIS) held last week in Las Vegas. Here’s what earned Apartment Therapy a “Best In Show” stamp — and what you should look out for to hit the market this year (if it’s not already available).

Shades of green dominated the Vegas show floor, but no one nailed this story of nature’s colors like Kohler, who reached into his archives to add three beautiful, bold colors to his Heritage Colors collection: Fresh Green (first introduced 1971), Aspen Green (first introduced in 1978) and Teal (first introduced in 1987). These shades will be available in a variety of Kohler products, from apron-front kitchen sinks and tub bases to claw-foot toilets and tubs.

Yes, you need a plumbing connection to operate, and this unit must also be built into your work surface. Miele is known for its high-performance and durable canister vacuums, but the German company has begun expanding into the wand category. And as you might expect, their technology there is top notch. If you’re trying to cut the cord for convenience, but don’t want to compromise on performance — and want to invest in something that will last — consider the Duoflex HX1. It is the perfect model for quickly cleaning kitchens and living rooms, it can quickly switch from stick to hand vacuum and works on various types of floors and surfaces for up to 55 minutes at the lowest power setting.

As bathrooms become more like at-home spas, the industry is beginning to see greater innovation in tubs and showers, as well as shower heads and wands. Delta Faucet’s prototype, the Versa Curl Detangling hand shower, drew a large crowd at the show.
