I really admire those who know how to surf because I don’t have that skill. I remember spending a morning on Oahu’s North Shore a few years ago watching surfers for hours while sipping coffee sitting on the sand dunes, it was one of my most relaxing travel experiences.
When I asked my daughter what kind of art she wanted in her updated bedroom space, she just said some favorite photos she took in Santa Barbara, so I framed them including a very cool photo of surfers at sunset. That shot is now for sale in my Etsy art shop, as is a brightly colored abstract surf painting I did last year, both linked below.
