With spring cleaning in full swing, you may have spent some of your free time organizing, decluttering and freshening up your kitchen. While having countertops neat and cabinets put together is critical to feeling like you’re in control of your space, if you’re anything like me, your refrigerator can be an afterthought. If bags of produce are piling up, expired items are pushed to the back, and you can’t seem to find what you need when you need it, and taking a little time to organize what you have may be just the ticket you need to a cleaner space. Not to mention, it will certainly make cooking easier.

However, if you don’t know where to start when it comes to organization, we wouldn’t blame you. Luckily, IKEA currently sells clear storage boxes that can help you get started. Coming in three different sizes, the durable containers with stackable lids are ideal for holding vegetables, eggs and cheese. The lid will help protect your food from dirt, but also block odors so your fridge won’t smell. Plus, their clear exterior will help you see exactly what you have at all times.

“I downsized my fridge and then had to be smart with storage. These boxes are perfect for cheese, cold meats, salad, vegetables and fruits, and they are transparent, so you can easily see what is where,” wrote one reviewer. “I used a few of these to make an easily accessible salad in my fridge. I love it!!” said another user.

One customer even mentioned using them as storage and we couldn’t have liked the idea more. They would be perfect for organizing granola bars, nuts, and even dry goods like pasta, rice, or crackers.

You can pick them up at your local IKEA or on the IKEA website for between $3.99 and $5.99 each, depending on the size.
