This week has been very relaxing for me, I spent the last few days alone in Florida, visiting the local farmer’s market, cleaning my house and enjoying some beautiful sunsets on the beach. At this stage in my life, on the brink of an empty nest but with family responsibilities at home pending, I take time to recharge when available. Far from being distracted, I always have the clearest thoughts and the best ideas for the future come to mind on days like these.
Next week I’m back to California and the daily family routines. Our new kitchen tops have arrived, so the mini makeover of that space begins. I’ve already replaced the island lighting, next I’ll get new quartz countertops for the space. Just a few changes will make our kitchen feel fresher.
