Did you know that you should change your towels every two years? Um, me neither. I’ve had a set that I’ve been using a lot longer than that, and aside from a little fading and a few snags here and there, they just didn’t look ready to retire. But after discovering that bedding has a lifespan and being offered the chance to try out a set of towels from Marvelous Craft, I figured it was a good excuse to finally make a change.

To be honest, I had never heard of the Miracle Made brand before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. After visiting the company’s website, I learned that the brand makes bedding and bath essentials that are infused with silver (yes, silver!) to reduce bacterial growth and prevent musty odors. It all sounds very scientific, but the bottom line is that Miracle Made pretty much guarantees these towels won’t stink. And after two months of trying it out, I have to say I totally agree! Miracle Made bath towels are so plush and absorbent that I feel like I’m wrapping myself in a fluffy cloud every time I step out of the shower.

What is a miracle towel?

The Miracle Made Towel is a luxury bath towel with silver that is made from premium long staple cotton. Silver is intended to prevent up to 99.7% of bacterial growth, which means less odor, cleaner fabrics that won’t spread bacteria, and the ability to wash towels less often (not really a selling point for me, but you do!). Another thing that sets them apart? Even though they are ridiculously absorbent, the 30×56 inch towels dry very quickly. The miracle towel is available in white, stone gray and a beautiful sky blue, and can be purchased individually for $35 or as a set for $65.

Why I love the miracle towel

I decided on a set of Miracle Made stone-colored towels, which seemed a bit thin and inconspicuous when I first took them out of the package. In fact, judging by their appearance, I wasn’t convinced that they would absorb much water when I dried off after a shower. But after washing them first and throwing them in the dryer, the towels changed completely. Suddenly they were much thicker and the tiny loops seemed more significant.

Those little loops worked wonders when I actually used one of the towels for the first time. It felt soft and comfortable against my skin and soaked up water like a sponge, leaving barely a trace of moisture behind. After that, I hung the towel over the shower curtain and within a few hours it was completely dry, with no hint of moldy smell. This turned out to be the case every time I air-dried the towel after a shower, but what really impressed me was that the towel also didn’t pick up a musty smell the few times it came out of the dryer slightly damp (the machines in my laundry buildings are unpredictable). It was a first for me, as other towels I’ve owned would get a little weird and sometimes retain the smell, even after a second round in the dryer.

So far I’ve been delighted with the performance of the Miraculously Made towel set and I’m glad I made the upgrade. The colors have not faded over time. There were no tangles, those wonderful little loops remain intact, and the towels are as plush as ever after every wash. And, of course, they remained odorless, just as the brand promised. When it comes time to replace my towels in two years, I definitely plan on getting another set from Miracle Made because the silver ones are as good as gold.
