Weekend Antique Haul Road Trip

Last weekend I took a little trip to some of the small towns that surround the city in search of hidden antique treasures. As an avid collector and lover of all things vintage, I can never pass up an opportunity to dig through the dusty boxes and shelves of local antique shops. You never know what unique pieces of history you might discover. This weekend ended up being one of my most successful antiques to date. I found a few items that I know will bring character and charm to my home. Here are some of my favorite finds from the antique haul weekend that I hope will inspire your own antique adventure.

  • Ceramic Easter bunny figurine: A charming ceramic bunny with a soft white and beige color palette sits nestled among the eggs, adding a classic touch to Easter decor.
  • Fake Easter Egg Wreath: There is a collection of artificial colorful eggs that evoke the appearance of bird’s eggs, and are gathered in a natural arrangement, contributing to the seasonal atmosphere of the setting.
  • Vintage Easter Tins: Beneath the bunny can be seen vintage-inspired metal tins with traditional Easter illustrations, offering both a decorative and practical option for storing small items.

    • Porcelain bunny bowl: Above the colorful eggs is an ornate pastel colored porcelain bowl designed to look like a nest, decorated with floral patterns and featuring a bunny figure, perfect for holding Easter treats.
    • Easter greetings: In the lower right corner are Easter cards with traditional motifs and warm wishes, which embody the spirit of the holiday and are suitable for giving to loved ones.
    • Children’s Easter book: Tucked into the back of the shelf, there appears to be a vintage children’s book with golden letters, possibly a classic Easter story, adding a nostalgic literary element to the festive collection.
