Over the past few days, I’ve been emptying out my local store, repurposing shelves and leftover furniture, and distributing the remaining merchandise to several retailers I know. It was a lot of creative work but a valuable experience, I made new business friends and learned so much during the year I had the shop.
All three of my children are with us today for Easter dinner, and my parents and my brother and his children are also there. We make a big feast and luckily enjoy the sunny sky. I leave for Florida on Monday and will be there for a few weeks working on small projects around our house there. The patio is going to get a few updates and I’m starting a bedroom remodel as well. I have some friends coming to visit for a few days, so we will take the ferry to Key West and enjoy the fun in that special part of the world.
