“It’s a fresh citrus scent,” Talia says as her camera pans to the cleanser, which retails for $3.99 each. “I tried it and I really like it. It just smells very fresh and bright.”
Instagram account @BigBoxVegan also posted about the new spray, with one commenter sharing that they tried it and “loved it.” Another added that the smell and price were “just right”.
The sanitizer is part of Trader Joe’s big release of lemon-scented products for this time of year, such as Sicilian-Style 100% Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest Ricotta Ravioli, Lemon Zest Madeleine Cookies, and Seasonal Baked Lemon Ricotta Cheese. A few weeks ago, Trader Joe’s also released a three-pack of spring candles, which included a lemon verbena scent that customers loved.
According to Trader Joe’s website, Fresh Citrus All-Purpose Disinfectant Cleaner comes in a 24-fluid-ounce bottle and promises to kill up to 99.9% of common household bacteria and viruses, without the use of harsh-smelling, irritating chemicals like chlorine bleach. so.
“This cleaner is truly multi-purpose, capable of tackling everything from heavy grease stains in the kitchen, to mold and mildew in the bathroom,” reads the official product description, adding that the cleaner is “an excellent choice for both large projects and daily cleaning.”
Trader Joe’s recommends spraying the area you want to clean with the cleaner until it’s completely wet, then letting it sit for 20 minutes before wiping it off.
