Easter basket gift guide to surprise the little ones

Every year I love to put together a cute basket of goodies for my girls to celebrate Easter. It kind of snuck up on me this year because Easter is the week after spring break, and we were planning a trip during that week. I hope I can get their baskets ready, so we can come into the house on Easter and treat them to treats!

We like to do a mix of sweets and gifts in our Easter baskets. Even something a little practical. Growing up, we were given an umbrella, tights and sweets. They don’t have to be big things to feel meaningful!

My girls are like me in that they don’t like chocolate as much as other sweets. Jelly Starburst Jelly. Sour Patch Kids (sigh). Anything fruity and sour. So I’m on the hunt for a non-chocolate bunny. (Though, I might get one for Polly since she’s the only one who actually is would enjoy it. He’s also a fan of Junior Mints.)

We all know that getting a sweet basket is half the fun! There are so many cute options. To top it all off, here’s my collection of goodies I’m anticipating for girls’ Easter baskets this year.

We bought the girls these watches last summer, and they love them. I bought “light blue” (more like mint green) and “jelly blue” for Polly and Faye. There are 22 colors available, so it’s easy to find your child’s favorite color.

Who doesn’t love playing frisbee on the beach? We plan to take this on our spring road trip!

The cutest hat for your mini me and just in time to enjoy the warmer weather outside.

I got one of these for each of the girls and I’m so excited for them to wear them with their Easter dresses. These custom bracelets take 2 weeks to ship so don’t sleep on this one!

These baskets were smaller than I expected, but they are so cute and perfect for filling with Easter treats.

My girls live in these pajamas. They are so soft and light — essential for spring and summer. I got this orange picture for Faye and strawberries for Polly.

The Stanley is our favorite water bottle for the whole family. The 20 oz size is great for toddlers and I love this color (“Mist”) for spring. They also fit perfectly into cup holders!

I love seeing a nostalgic toy make a comeback. This spirograph set will entertain your little ones for hours with all the patterns they create.

My girls love a good craft kit and it doesn’t get any cuter than these. I also bought the rabbit version!

April showers are coming so this is a great practical gift to add to your basket. Last year I gave the girls umbrellas – they were a huge hit.

Get a little more shut-eye, but do it in the sweetest way. I bought this to add to the girls baskets and I know they will love it.

Every basket needs a chocolate bunny, right? Lindt chocolate is golden and this one is extra sweet with a red ribbon.

The girls became Swifties this year, and I know they’ll love reading all about her in this biography made for kids.

This jump rope is a classic and such a fun toy to use outside on a sunny day. Plus, it’s adjustable to your child’s height!

Scented colored pencils make drawing time even more fun. They have some unexpected scents like jelly donut and blue slushie that my girls will love.

Even kids need a good pair of classic sunglasses for spring, and this turtle pattern adds that extra cool quotient.

I always include a sketch pad with any goodie bag because my girls go through them so quickly!
