There are dresses for various occasions. I wear one to church. I wear one to a nice dinner. But I always feel like I’m willing to spend the least on a nice dress. I’d rather spend it on a good pair of jeans because I’ll be wearing them all the time. Or shoes. But I think I missed it.

Last year I invested in a red dress from Doen (it’s now sold out in red, unfortunately), and I seem to reach for that dress every chance I get. Once you realize the power of a good dress in your arsenal, you will never regret it. I have my eye on some of these looks below – they all feel like they could become my next iconic dress.

The wonderful thing about dresses for spring is that they can be dressed up or dressed down. Dress up with a cute pair of sneakers and you’re ready for Thrift Saturday. Or pair a dress with heels and go to brunch or a baby shower.
Of course, many people get new dresses for Easter, but I think now is a good time to get a dress that you can wear for multiple occasions. So I’ve rounded up some of my favorite spring dresses below!
